Each week, our Video Venue (located in the Multi-Purpose Room) welcomes over 100 guests at 9:45 AM on Sundays—and this continues to grow!

We believe every person who walks through our doors should feel comfortable and ready to hear the Word of God. Our Connections Team plays a vital role in this by helping prepare the environment each week. It’s more than arranging a room; it’s creating a space where people can feel at home and focus on what truly matters.

As we continue to grow and enhance the space, we are building a team of volunteers who will help each week with room setup and hospitality preparation.

Our heart as the Connections Team is to create an atmosphere where every person who walks through the doors of Grand Point Church feels seen, known, loved, and valued.

We believe we are not just welcoming people into a building; we are helping create a space where people feel at home and ready to encounter God. And it might start at the door. For many people, a smile, a “good morning,” or a simple act of welcome may be the very first kindness they receive that day. That moment can shape how they experience everything that follows

What we do:

As Door Greeters, you are often the first personal expression of welcome people experience. You help set the tone for a church that feels like home from the very first moment.

Time Commitment:Ideally at least one Sunday (both 9 and 11 am services) per month

Culture of hospitality

We believe hospitality is not just friendliness; it is making it easy for people to feel at home and take their next step. Every interaction is an opportunity to reflect the heart of Jesus through kindness, clarity, and care.

We’re looking for some amazing people to help us welcome and guide our guests on Sunday mornings. The Parking Team is often the very first human interaction someone has with the church. We set the tone before people even enter the building.

Our role is to transform what could be a stressful arrival experience into a peaceful, welcoming, and guided moment. Parking lots can feel confusing, chaotic, or overwhelming—especially for new visitors. We exist to remove that tension.

What we do:

No previous experience necessary — just a smile, a wave, and a heart to serve!
