Social Media: Community Manager
Social Media Community Managers help care for our online community by responding to comments and messages, fostering healthy engagement, and helping people take their next steps at Grand Point Church. This role is about presence, hospitality, and connection in the digital space.
What You Would Do
- Monitor social media comments and direct messages
- Respond with warmth, clarity, and consistency using approved guidelines
- Pray for and encourage people when appropriate
- Direct individuals to next steps (visit a campus, baptism, groups, care, etc.)
- Flag sensitive messages or care needs to staff leadership promptly
- Help cultivate a welcoming, respectful online environment
What You Need to Know
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and people-focused
- Comfortable engaging with people from diverse backgrounds
- Able to maintain confidentiality and follow care escalation processes
- Familiarity with Grand Point Church’s ministries and next steps

Social Media Content Creator
Social Media Content Creators help bring Grand Point Church’s voice to life online by creating and scheduling engaging graphics, captions, and short-form content. This role supports connection, communication, and next steps by helping people engage with the church throughout the week—not just on Sundays.
What You Would Do
- Assist in creating social media graphics using provided brand guidelines and templates
- Write or refine captions and copy that align with Grand Point’s voice and values
- Schedule posts across social platforms using approved tools
- Collaborate with the Communications team on campaigns, series, and events
- Occasionally assist with short-form video ideas or simple edits (if skilled)
What You Need to Know
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva preferred)
- Strong written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow brand standards
- Dependable, responsive, and able to meet posting deadlines

- Enjoys writing, design, or digital storytelling in a brand voice
- Is active on social media and understands current trends
- Is available during the week & enjoys working remotely

Weekend Experience Photographer
Weekend Experience Photographers/Videographers help tell the story of what God is doing at Grand Point Church by capturing authentic, engaging photos & video clips during weekend services and special events. Your work helps people see themselves in our church, celebrate life change, and invite others into community. Our goal is to have 4 volunteers in this role per campus.
What You Would Do
- Capture high-quality photos & video clips during weekend services, focusing on people and the overall event/service experience (worship, teaching, baptisms, prayer moments, community, environment shots)
- Photograph special events as assigned (e.g., holidays, baptisms, outreach events, ministries)
- Upload and organize photos according to the team’s process and deadlines
- Communicate with the Communications team regarding availability and assignments
What You Need to Know
- Comfortable using a DSLR, mirrorless camera, or high-quality smartphone
- Basic understanding of composition and lighting
- Reliable, punctual, and respectful of worship environments
- Ability to capture candid moments without being disruptive
- Heart for storytelling and ministry through visuals, focusing on people over programs
Ideal For Someone Who…
- Loves photography/videography/storytelling and wants to use their gifts for the church
