Inventory Assistant (Hamilton Heights Backpack Outreach)

• Time Commitment: 1-2 hours, once or twice a month
• Length of Commitment: 1 year

Purpose
Grand Point Church is partnered with Hamilton Heights Elementary School to provide resources for students in need within this school. The Backpack Program supplies weekend, non-perishable meals for Hamilton Heights Elementary School students who need assistance with meals. Each week, a bag containing breakfast and lunch items for the weekend are packaged and delivered to the school to be sent home with designated students.

Responsibilities
Assist with maintaining necessary food supplies for this program. This program runs from the end of August through the end of May. This person would pick up food orders that have been placed with local stores, bring the order to GPC, unload it, and restock the cabinets. When food supplies are delivered directly to GPC, this person would unload it and restock the cabinets.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs., bend, and twist. Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
