Parking Attendant – Chambersburg

• Ministry Team: Connections Team
• Reports to: Executive Director of Advancement
• Time Commitment: Ideally at least one shift a month at minimum
  • Sunday 9:00-10:00 AM
  • Sunday 10:30 AM- 11:30 AM
• Length of Commitment: 1 year

Purpose

To create an atmosphere where every person who walks through the doors of Grand Point Church feels seen, known, loved, and valued. To create safety in our parking lot for all those entering and leaving.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic to open parking areas.
• Position yourselves strategically throughout the parking lot to be able to greet and direct attendees to open parking spots.
• Assist attendees as needed.
• Serve attendees by going above and beyond (for example: by opening car doors, walking the elderly or young families across the parking lot, covering guests with an umbrella on a rainy day to name, etc.)
• Wear reflective vests.

Qualifications

• You must like people!
• Must be comfortable directing traffic in a friendly manner.
• Be willing to search for avenues to assist people in any way possible.
• Be willing to participate in trainings, as needed.
