Parking Team Coordinator – Chambersburg

• Ministry Team: Connections Team
• Reports to: Executive Director of Advancement
• Time Commitment: 2-3 hours a week for scheduling and serving
• Length of Commitment: 1 year

Purpose
To create an atmosphere where every person who walks through the doors of Grand Point Church feels seen, known, loved, and valued. To create safety in our parking lot for all those entering and leaving.

Responsibilities

• Recruit new members, train new members, and schedule the team using CCB.
• Create strategy and oversight for the parking team.
• Direct traffic to open parking areas. Position yourselves strategically throughout parking lot to be able to greet and direct to open parking spots.
• Assist attendees as needed.
• Serve guests by going above and beyond by opening car doors, walking the elderly or young families across the parking lot, covering guests with an umbrella on a rainy day to name a few ideas.
• Wear reflective vests.

Qualifications

• You must like people!
• Comfortable leading and directing a team.
• Think strategically about parking area and safety concerns.
• Willing to participate in trainings as needed.
