Security Team Member – Chambersburg

• Ministry Team: Connections Team – Security
• Reports to: Executive Director of Advancement
• Time Commitment: Ideally at least 2 weekends a month
  • Saturday 5:15 – 7:15 pm
  • Sunday 7:30 – 9:25 am / 9:25 – 10:50 am / 10:50 am – 12:30 pm
• Length of Commitment: 1 year

Purpose
To be a key leader for any security needs during services and to other security team members to create an atmosphere where every person who walks through the doors of Grand Point Church feels seen, known, loved, and valued.

Responsibilities
• Remain present for the entire designated timeslot, serving together as a team to cover the entire building.
• Communicate any concerns to coordinator and team members immediately.
• Ensure all doors to the building are locked at the end of the last service time.

Qualifications
• Possess an awareness of safety and security measures and the ability to be keenly observant and alert.
• Knowledge of the building and key security areas; ensuring there is sufficient coverage.
• Willing to participate in trainings as needed.

• Attend training to gain a strong overview of the role and the resources available to you for reference and support.
