Service Manager – Chambersburg

Connections Team
  • Ministry Team: Connections Team
  • Reports to: Executive Director of Advancement
  • Time Commitment: Ideally at least one weekend a month serving all weekend if possible.
    • Hours:
    • Saturdays: 5:30-7:30
    • Sundays: 7:45AM-1PM
  • Length of Commitment: 1 year


To be the key leader on scheduled weekends for questions related to hospitality needs or other Connection Team needs. To create an atmosphere where every person who walks through the doors of Grand Point Church feels seen, known, loved, and valued.


  • Serve as the main point of contact for the entire weekend or day.
  • Assist Connections Team members with any needs or questions.
  • Direct Connections Team members to their role and placement for their shift and any training, shadowing, or orientation for new team members.
  • Will need to ensure all facility lock up procedures have been completed.


  • You must love God and love people!
  • Comfortable with questions and needs from guests and team members.
  • Knowledgeable of the building, ministries, and services offered to guests.
  • Willing to participate in trainings as needed.


  • You will meet with the director for training to gain a strong overview of the role and resources available to you for reference.
