Youth Leader Volunteer – Chambersburg

Ministry Team: The PointYM – Chambersburg
Time Commitment: Wednesday evenings 6:30 to 8:00 pm
Length of Commitment: Long Term

Purpose
We’re looking for adults that have a passion for workings with teens and sharing the love of Christ.

Responsibilities

• Youth leaders will focus on building meaningful relationships with the students of Grand Point Church.
• Leaders will assist with small group discussions and partner with youth pastor to foster deeper relationships with Christ.

Qualifications

• New leaders must have a passion to work with students one on one. No experience required, but an understanding of teenagers are strongly encouraged. New leaders must pass a full background check.

Onboarding Plan
New leaders are required to meet with campus youth pastor or director to hear why the potential leader feels called to the Point Youth Ministry. New leaders will have the opportunity to observe for two weeks before committing to the youth ministry. All volunteers must pass a full federal and state background check.
